I've had great success using this short script on a modified Linksys WRT54GL (running either Tomato or DD-WRT):

I've installed SquidGuard, and to be sure; it's quite good.  However I'm after something a bit more basic, and am looking to modify the above script for use with pfsense - just not quite sure where to start.

Should I create a cron job?  And I'm wondering if any of the commands in the script need to be modified.

Thanks for any advice anyone can offer :)
