DynDNS IPV6 IP mismatch error

I have a custom Dnyamic DNS entry for my ipv6 address . After a reboot, the Dynamic DNS process fails with the following error:
/services_dyndns_edit.php: phpDynDNS (): (Error) Result did not match. []

The URL I am using for the update is :
https://members.dyndns.org/v3/update?hostname=<hostname>&myip=%IP% .

I have tried deleting the cache in the /conf directory, thinking that maybe there was a stale ip address, however that did not help.
