XG-7100 Cannot access Console Port

Just moved house, and now I can't access the console port of my XG-7100. Using putty and the front console port. What's the standard troubleshooting here?
Config:
Win10 Pro
Putty .76
Tried two different Micro-USB Cables so far -
@zweldon edit: console port during boot spits out some characters, mostly random. thoughts?

@zweldon Baud rate? Assuming its the same as the other devices, try 8N1, 115200

Yeah, sounds like a baudrate mismatch.
It will be 115200 at least initially for the output from Coreboot. It then switches to when pfSense is configured to use. That is also 115200 by default but can be anything. If you imported an old config at some point that might have had something else set.

@stephenw10 very strange - had it set to 115200, still gibberish, come back a day later, and it's fine.
