I'm teaching a firewall class and the students are doing their final lab. They installed 2.5.0 on Virtualbox and VMWare. They configured the settings and were actually logged in the WebGUI when they all started getting booted out - like within minutes of each other. When trying to log back in, they got "Username or Password incorrect" One student closed his browser a few times and was able to get in. Another did the same thing and got back in too. Eventually everyone but one got back in. She tried a different browser, clearing cache, incognito, etc. Why were they kicked out, what finally let them back in, and why could the one student not get back in? They were all using pfSense-CE-2.5.0-RELEASE-amd64.iso.

      Thanks~

Usually it's because after completing the wizard ntp kicks in after a few minutes and the session cookie then becomes invalid and it expires the session. You should be able to just reconnect but the CSRF check will complain.
