help with setting up wireguard and port forward plex

can some people here please show me the proper way or ways to setup wireguard to portforward plex in pfsense? I need you to show screenshots while you explain.
i have tried forwarding port 32400 in the portforwarding tab of the pfsense firewall with the wireguard interface. i created the destination wireguard address to the redirect ip which is my plex machine. i have also opened the port in my vpn service accounts side.
also, i have set my plex machine windows pc to a static ip 192.168.5.16, default gateway 192.168.5.1, dns 192.168.5.1.
in plex i have set the port manually to 32400.
i have disabled my windows defender firewall as well
but plex still says it can not reach the internet and i have also checked the port and my vpn dedicated ip using a port checker site but it says the port is not open.
this was all working perfectly a fewe days ago. i dont know what happened.
