      TlDr;
      After a Gateway fails, the State goes to "Offline 100% Packetloss". The Gateway recovers but Dpinger stays at State "offline".

      I have the exact Problem, except i dont have a Fritzbox infront of it, neither a ICMP-Payload helps. But its a CableModem (TC-4400) in the old Unitymedia Area.

      I tried to install a fresh PFsense and everything works, as soon as I restore a Backup thorugh the GUI it wont work anymore. So it have to be a config issue.

      As soon as i restart the Dpinger Service it instantly works. Also if I configure anything with any Gateway it works again (State=Online).

      I cant find anything in the Logs and i have no clue how i can go forward and i would like avoiding setting up my whole Pfsense again...

      EDIT1:
      Under Gateway Dpinger "writes":
      Oct 1 01:15:19 dpinger 20231 KABEL_DHCP 1.1.1.0: sendto error: 65 (65=No Route)
      As long as the Gateway is down, after it recovers no more entries are added.

      The Public IP stays the same, so no binding issue here.
