I believe there is a category specifically for proxy sites in squidguard. Do you have squidguard automatically update definitions?

Use opendns.com as your external DNS forwarder they have much better in content filtering. It is free.

Go to the Proxy Filter config. And set the blacklist url option to a site that produces lists of sites and categories with them.
I have used http://www.shallalist.de/Downloads/shallalist.tar.gz for various locations.
Click upload url and after a while you will have a bunch more categories to pick from.

SquidGuard not have auto-update. This operation may be processed manually once on week (or twice on month).

Yes, sorry I should have said that. An easy curl script in a cron job fixes that though if you wanted.

                      After setting URLs list: facebook.com,friendster.com

                      Go to:Redirect (Bottom)
                      Type the Redirect url. mail.yahoo.com

Hope this is right. Try it then save. If not working, try restart squid+squidguard (and if still no luck), restart pfsense.

Hi. Go to their site and copy their dns. And use it for your pfsense dns.

Hi, I'm just asking for something like that in another post  (http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,20983.0.html).
I am very beginner when it comes down to Freebsd so could someone advice how to do this in pfsense (probably there are other people missing this functionality too).

And to answer the question about blocking proxies etc. There seems to be at least two good categories for that in Shallalist : dynamic and redirector
