Hello, I would like to install the pfSense Community Edition ( CE ), which will be running in virtualized environment to one of my client.

My question is : Is it possible to install and use the pfSense Community Edition in "commertial" environment.

I do not want to sell it as a product, I just want to install/configure and take care about it.

      Thank you

Read this Netgate blog post about what the CE is.
There is another blog post about CE also, when it was announced that pfSense would split into two nearly identical versions : one CE and the other, the Plus version, more focussed for installation on their own hardware.
There are some forum posts about the question.

IMHO : If your not selling it, neither modify/rebrand it, I guess you'll be fine.

I use pfSense CE 2.5.2 @home and @work ( hotel ) for many years now.

I'm pretty sure a Netgate representative will also answer your question.

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??
