    IPSec Service throwing error filling up logs 02[CFG] error in C_WaitForSlotEvent: GENERAL_ERROR

      I'm not sure on the cause but after some time being up, the bzip2 processes take over my CPU all zipping up VPN logs.
      When i look into the log entiries the following two entries have hundreds per second.

      Oct 19 19:23:00 charon 38546 01[CFG] error in C_WaitForSlotEvent: GENERAL_ERROR
      Oct 19 19:23:00 charon 38546 01[CFG] C_GetSlotInfo failed: SLOT_ID_INVALID

      Stopping IPSec stops new entries, but restarting it does not stop the error.
      Rebooting the whole router seems to stop if for a while.
      Any idea what that cause is and how to stop it from killing my CPU by generating so many logs.
      By the way IPSec works fine while these entries are showing up.

          as a quick workaround, i muted all logging controls by setting them to silent:
