      I have been using the firewall tests from the website
      http://shieldcheck.com/

      This test is fairly rudimentary.
      Are there any more and better testing sites on the internet ?
      Thank you in advanced

        @timlak

        I use www.grc.com, though you can always run nmap on another computer.

        PfSense running on Qotom mini PC
        i5 CPU, 4 GB memory, 32 GB SSD & 4 Intel Gb Ethernet ports.
        UniFi AC-Lite access point

        I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...

          Just to test inbound connection rejection there is not much difference, it's a pretty basic test.

            Hi,

            Pls. create a KALI VM or BM, etc, (with KALI) and attack your own self, if possible and if you have resources,...... from outside IP... :)

            BTW:
            this test you named is not just a starter test, nope... I don't think it can be used for a proper FW test

            his approach is excellent in SOHO, listen to what he says !!! :)

            Cats bury it so they can't see it!
