      Is there a way to be notified when outgoing bandwidth rate exceeds limit for time specified. I'm finding that my upload is being loaded, and then slows my whole internet.

        There is nothing built into pfSense to do that, no.

        You might be able to see something from one of the bandwidth monitoring packages but I'm not aware of anything that would send notifications for that actively.

          @stephenw10 That's probably my biggest need for a netgate (or other) appliance. I hope someone else who has slow internet (phoneline DSL) might have similar Problem/ Solution.
