I have a situation were I need to allow another device to have a public static IP address using a port on my Netgate 6100. Normally, I would put a switch in between the ISP CPE equipment and the 6100 to allow other devices to have a static IP. In this case the handoff is fiber and I don't have a small switch with an SFP port. So...I'd like to use a port on the 6100 to allow this device to have a public static IP from the /29 pool I have assigned.

I'm following the bridging guide without success: https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/firewall/additional-ip-addresses.html#single-ip-subnet-on-wan

I've tried to bridge my Wan 1 port with Lan 4 and have the device connected to Lan 4 configured with one of my statics.
Anyone else using this method? How did you get it to work.
