Block Internet but allow Visual Studio Code

Hi,

On my Pfsense community edition, I blocked the internet totally from the users by creating a rule under:
Firewall >>> Rules>>> Lan.

Users don't have internet anymore which is perfect, but I want the users/developers while using their "Visual Studio code" application to be able to update or install from the marketplace of the Visual studio code terminal.

May you advise how to set up this rule, or package, etc...
