Any chance someone here has installed pfsense on an HP gen8 sl230 blade? I have a couple of SAS drivers configured as one logical drive but pfsense will not see any storage when trying to install.

What does it see? Check the boot log.

This is a known HP problem which is why I mentioned the blade specifically. I need a specific driver to get past this but I can't find enough info to solve the problem which is why I was hoping someone else here might have had to deal with this.
There's no boot log since there is nothing installed on the blade.
It doesn't see storage no matter if zfs only without RAID0 or RAID1 and just the drives nor if the drives are configured for RAIDx.It takes several reboots to get past this error too.
Once it gets past this, the installer runs up until it wants to use storage then there is no storage to be found.

The solution was to use SATA drives if you can believe it. Then the blade has no problem seeing individual drives and you can install pfsense mirrored to both.
