I just received my Netgate 1100 and was trying to install. Having issues with install and now have a corrupt config file. I cannot do anything that I am aware of. When I try to change IP address nothing happens.

Are you seeing an error that indicates the config is corrupt?

If it is a damaged config it should just load the last known good config. However you can reset to factory config manually from the console menu.

If it's suffered file system damage you have not yet deployed it the fastest way back up is to re-flash the firmware. Open a ticket with us to get the recovery image: https://go.netgate.com/

@stephenw10 yes the error shows corrupt and can’t pull from last known backup. I’m very green to this and networking, but have plugged it in and launched to the start menu multiple times, but never really got into setup. Last evening I was going to log in to change the IP address and start setup when the config.xml error showed

Hmm, that's an unusual error it if is. But you should be able to just reload the default config either from the webgui (if you can access it) or from the serial console menu.

However if that fails for some reason I would just reinstall the firmware to get back to a known state.
