      I am attempting to install pfsense on a mini pc. However, the boot hangs with the last line "atkbd0: [GIANT-LOCKED]". I've seen other threads with a possible solution to this, but it involves the boot menu and I don't encounter one during the installation boot. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

        Were you able to solve this? Can we see the full boot log?

          @stephenw10 I was able to solve it. I was using the serial install file when I should have used the VGA install file. It was probably working just fine, but when it got to the point mentioned above, it was displaying to the serial port and not my monitor. Once I used the VGA install file, it worked perfectly.
