Status / DHCP Leases not showing all clients connected to the interface.
Is there any solution to this.

Status > DHCP Leases shows only what its name implies: active DHCP leases.
Are you looking for none-DHCP client IPs?

@viragomann It doesn't show one NVR connected and it's clients (IP cameras) note that nmap via command line shows them.

Shut down the NVR for a moment - or rip out the Ethernet cable.
Get ready and tail the dhcp log file.

tail -f /var/log/dhcpd.log

( or follow the Status > System Logs > DHCP )

Power up / reconnect the NVR.

Did you saw it asking for a lease ?

In parallel : did the /var/dhcpd/var/db/dhcpd.leases file change ?

Take snap shot of it, and compare afterwards.

And those devices are configured for DHCP?

@stephenw10 Thanks a lot for the help. I configured the NVR and Cams outside the dchp range manually.

Then why would you think they would show up in your dhcp leases? If they are set static on the devices?

@ikonomn dhcp leases would list the devices it handed out leases too ;)

If your looking for devices that have talked to pfsense recently you would want to look in the arp table.

The default arp cache time on pfsense is 20 minutes. So anything pfsense has seen in the last 20 minutes or so would be in the arp table, be it was dhcp client or some device you setup with static IP.

Like saying " I don't have my type rating for the Boeing 737 I just bought".
(pfSense being the Boeing here ;) )

That's not an issue.
I'll tell you something that needs no understanding : we're all born with any networking knowledge. ( I'm even born before all this existed )

So, the extreme good news is : you'll be good for the walking down the road we all took.
Take a book, see a good movie, take your time.

And, as I'm curious, tell us if you found a short cut ;)

edit : And keep the Boeing : I advise you to get X-Planes and the ZIBO 737 mod. Some other pay-ware tools are strongly advised, like the Navigraph / Jeppesen charts - and get these paddles and joystick out of the box.
This took me two years ....... and a lot of virtual crashes. Didn't find any short cuts.
