Ive seen a few tools but thought i would ask for advice before doing anything.
What is the best way to get all of the RRD data from previous backups and import into my current install? Im guessing the fact there may be overlap for a certain day in the backups could cause issues?

These "/var/db/rrd" RRD files can be manipulated 'manually'.
Tools exist.This is not a pfSense issue, though, as pfSense merely uses RRD to store data. You'll be needing a host system with the tool, get the files, do what you have todo, and put the files back in place.

pfSense has a rrdtool binary installed :[2.5.2-RELEASE][admin@pfsense.nearby.net]/root: which rrdtool /usr/local/bin/rrdtool -
@gertjan thanks i had seen that tool i just thought someone may have found a "best way" if its just standard RRD data used in PFSense then that should work fine.

Btw : I never had the need myself, or, by memory, didn't saw some one mentioning on the forum, actually modifying them, to retrieve history data.
