Join a WAN AD from LAN

I should be in the right place of the forum, I hope.

I have pfSense running on a VM on a ESXi server. Along with pfSense I also have other VMs running both Linux and Win OS.

I would need to join these VM to the AD of my organization that is on the WAN (i.e. our private network).

How do I do this? Currently it is not working...
