    Hello,

    I tried following this guide to ensure proper communication/failover when someone is connected via VPN.

    I applied this manual (CARP IP) which went fine:
    https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/vpn/openvpn/ha.html

    But can't manage to apply this guide:
    https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/troubleshooting/ha-vpn-secondary.html

    I already created an alias for both nodes but can not choose them in the NAT-Outbound settings as destination, as described in the manual.

    Can anyone help me or do I even need this guide?

      @kkit
      You're on the right way.
      The source network has to be the OpenVPN tunnel network. At destination select Network and simply enter your alias into the next field.
