I have an old book-case PC with a funny IDE (CD-ROM) connector and no CD-ROM.  It does have a floppy, HDD and integrated nic, as well as two other nic I installed.

Before running all over to try to find or make a special cable for a CD-ROM unit, I would love to try network installation or something else that could work.

I searched all over the forum to find any clue without success.  Suggetions are highly appreciated.

Installing via netboot is under developement. In the meantime just install the hdd in another system from cdrom and move it over to the "funny" box after that.
