The new PFSense embedded

I've just read that the upcoming pfsense embedded is based on nanobsd.
Quote from Chris' Blog on the embedded version:
Package support – packages that are suitable for an embedded platform are supported.
I'm currently running the full version with Squid + the IMProxy. NOw the big question … would the new embedded version be able to run these packages? Are the "suitable" for the embedded plattform?

Could it technically run them? Yes. Should you run squid, which is a notorious resource hog and something which by design reads and writes data to the disk a lot? Well, you should probably just answer this one for yourself.
