      Hello,

I'm asking me if it is normal that the failover of the IPSec tunnels take more than 2 minutes to failover on the backup node, when the master fails.

States and tunnels should be ready on standby nodes in order to take over as fast as possible, isn't? Could be a setup/option misconfiguration?

More over, when I'm on a remote location, only the master is accessible through the IPSec tunnel, the backup node seems not to be routed back through th tunnel.

Many thanks for your insights on the topic.

Searching with right keywords, I found the solution for the routing issue :

I created the Outbound NAT as explained in the link above, and now the backup node is accessible from my remote location.
