      I would like to use pfsense for a public wireless network but I need to keep track of user MAC addresses for at least 3 months.
      Is that possible with pfsense?

        no.
        And even if it were. What for? MAC's are unreliable to track users.
        AFAIK squid can create logs per IP.

          Thanks for your response.

          I totally agree with you but unfortunately this is a security requirement from my company and I need to find something to make them happy.

          Can ARPwatch log the MAC addresses for a certain amount of time?
