I'm considering running pfsense VM in runraid and would appreciate advice on how to integrate a Gryphon tower.

I currently have a Gryphon Tower AC300 wifi AP I don't want to replace. The Gryphon offers parental controls and I cannot disable the LAN DHCP and put it in bridge mode. The LAN DHCP range can be specified. The WAN DHCP can be set to [DHCP|PPPoE|Static]. This is a networking question. See attached diagram.

The mobo LAN port and a quad 1Gb NIC will be passed to pfsense VM. The dual 10Gb NIC is for UNRAID. How can I configure the Gryphon and Pfsense to coexist? They each will have their own IP address space. The Gryphon will only serve wireless clients with internet access only; no wired LAN access for them.

I figured the Gryphon WAN port can be set to fixed IP, and the pfsense firewall rules can bridge the pfsense WAN (mobo LAN) to it for internet access.. The Gryphon will remain the DHCP server for wireless devices. Will this work? Thanks for any advice!Network (1).JPG
