Can pfSense utilize client certs for authentication with LDAP server?

Is there a hidden configuration of other such dialogue where pfSense can authenticate with an LDAP server using client certificate? I found reference to this in the documentation, however if was preferenced with the word (Factory Only) https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/usermanager/ldap.html

I'm not sure what Factory Only implies or if I can enable this capability.

Currently using 2.5.2 Release Version.
