I just finished installing the 22.01 upgrade on my SG5100 and am unable to connect to pfsense via the GUI although I can ping my SG5100. I've also tried connecting via the console using Putty, but it is unresponsive as well. I'm not sure how to move forward, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you connected to the console there previously?

        Can you connect via ssh?

If you reboot the 5100, using a single press on the power button to shut it down, do you see that on the console?

Have you ever restored a config on to it from another device?

It sounds like it might have the serial port disabled or set to another baud rate.

I have connected to the console via ssh (Putty) before to perform various configuration tasks and/or restores, but this time it didn't seem to like my connection. That said, I was able to ssh into the console with a different client and restart the webconfigurator, but I still can't get access via the webconfigutator. What's weird is that I can get to the login, but I receive a php error when I try to login. In fact, I think I'm having the same problem as described by @wgstarks in his latest post.

Try restarting php from the menu if you can still ssh in.

I had assumed you were connecting to the serial console, which should always be available.

What php error are you seeing?
