I saw no new update on my SG2100 running 21.05.2 so I tried to change the update brach to DEVEL and then back again to STABLE to see if it changed anything.

After this I now get the message Unable to check for updates both on the main page and in system update.

How can I fix this either to get the 22.01 update or get back to my 21.05.2 showing that I am running the latest version

Everything works like normal only the Unable to check for updates is a problem.

Forgot to state that I also tried switching to the previous stable version like suggested in the troubleshooting guide.

When running pkg-static clean -ay; pkg-static install -fy pkg pfSense-repo pfSense-upgrade in command prompt i get the following error:

        Updating pfSense-core repository catalogue...

          ....tls....

This won't hurt, is needed anyway, and will rule out a possible issue :

Use the GUI, or better : the console access, and do a clean shut down.
When the system is halted, remove the power.
Put it back in 30 seconds later.
          Boot up.

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??

Thanks, I just did this (as I finally made so far down the troubleshooting page... I was impatient and posted before I reached the end) and it worked.
