Can someone give me the DCMI for Dummies intro? I know it's a management interface, and I see its DHCP lease go active on my Netgate device from time to time. And that's about what I know so far ...

This is something on your network that occasionally pulls a dhcp lease from pfSense?

What's it's MAC address? What is this device?

@stephenw10 ,,, calls itself by its mac address:
          00:1e:67:85:8f:b7 DCMI001E67858FB7
It seems comes online when the computer I've hooked up to the console is active.

Appears to be an Intel MAC address so it's probably:

Some sort of out of band management for that machine, IPMI like.
