The following was mentioned in a reddit post from the link above.

"Evaluator shall not relocate Products without the prior written consent of Netgate" and "Software provided by Netgate may contain tracking and/or disabling features"

Evaluator agrees to provide Netgate personnel full and free access to the Product, including remote access, subject to the Evaluator’s security regulations, for the purpose of observing the testing and performance of the Product.

So I wanted to get clarification on this, I use this on my home on 3rd party hardware only and I don't have or run a business. I agreed to the home use of Pfsense+ and not an evaluation or try before you buy option. So I guess that I am asking is if there is tracking can and will Netgate people access my network, can features and other things be disabled or removed. My big issue is tracking and un-monitored access. If this is the case ill be moving away from this product. The whole point of a Firewall is to stop these things and protect everything behind the firewall from outside intrusion.

I am not making accusations I am looking for clarification from an official Netgate person.

      Thanks
