      We are running a HA Setup with two 7100-U devices.
      The second device just came in a few weeks back and we tried to add all the interfaces that we have on the first device. Anyway, we have a mismatch and cannot add the 2nd WAN Interface for failover. Is it possible to only edit the config.xml on the 2nd device to have a correct match?

      Cheers

        Usually Interfaces are not synced between devices (pfsense-CE). You can use SSH to the second device and viconfig to edit the configuration on the second device.

          @tboston What's the mismatch?

          It is also possible to save/back up the config, edit the XML file, and do a restore. But it should be possible to edit/assign interfaces in the web GUI.

          Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. If yours is older, select it in System/Update/Update Settings.
          When upgrading, let it finish; do not reboot early. Allow 10-15 minutes, or more depending on packages and device speed.
