2.7 (20220219) Cloudflare DDNS Issue

I'm trying to add a DDNS client to update an A record on my .xyz domain through Cloudflare. The credentials are correct since I don't have issues doing this with my pfsense 2.5.2 box. However, with this dev version when I click save, it gets stuck there for around 5 minutes until this:
Weird thing is that in the system logs, I do see that the ddns client successfully updated the record. So is this a webserver error of some sort? I have another DDNS client that is updating through OpenDNS and I don't have the same issue on that one.

Anyone having the same issue? It looks like it's not only isolated to CF. I tried adding a custom DDNS client and it's all over the place, really.
