Hi yesterday i had some connectivity issue on FC line, to avoid future internet isolation, i would like to add a failover GW with usb/ethernet modem 4g, but the nic was first correctly added and then detached after few seconds.
      some others with this problems?

      log dmesg :

      cdce0 on uhub6
      cdce0: <CDC Ethernet Control Model (ECM)> on usbus0
      ue0: <USB Ethernet> on cdce0
      ue0: Ethernet address: 00:1e:10:1f:00:00
      ugen2.2: <HUAWEIMOBILE HUAWEIMOBILE> at usbus2
      ugen2.2: <HUAWEIMOBILE HUAWEIMOBILE> at usbus2 (disconnected)
      ugen0.2: <HUAWEIMOBILE HUAWEIMOBILE> at usbus0 (disconnected)
      cdce0: at uhub6, port 1, addr 2 (disconnected)
      cdce0: detached

        Some thoughts :
Bad physical connection ? It's USB after all, they can unsnap easily.
Also check the power (current) consumption. If the port is underrated, the host (pfSense) will disconnect.

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??

Some devices have power saving that can present like that. You might check any available settings it has in Windows for that.

You shouldn't need to. You might try connecting it thought a powered hub a test.
