I have servers set up on my network registering their hostname via DHCP.

The problem is on my mac the DNS server getting set up via DHCP
      /etc/resolv.conf
      nameserver 1.1.1.1
is the first DNS server set up in on pfsense in Sysetem>General Setup/DNS Server Settings.

but on my windows computer my router is properly set as my dns server via DHCP so internal and external DNS is properly resolved.

/etc/resolv.conf is also properly populated on my linux machines. It is only the mac that is having the problem. Does anyone know why this is happening?
