Is 0 C an actual minimum operating temperature for the Netgate 1100? And can it take 4G USB?

I want something I can use in my EQC as a 4G modem with a firewall. The reason is that what I'm going to run a Pi 4 with Home Assistant and the MercedesMe integration, with ESPresense to create a keyless entry, which the previous owner in Germany for some strange reason didn't specify for the car. But ESPresense can sense the BLE tags on my keys coming within two meters from the car and automatically unlock the doors. I know some of the 4G sticks do very simple firewalls, but I want something I'm used to and I want something that will not use any data when it's not necessary, so I have to block all but a few Mercedes addresses. The low power consumption of the 1100 makes it an interesting unit.

Only problem is that I live in Norway, all though on the southern tip, which isn't as cold as futher north. But from November to March there will inevitably be some nights with 10-15 below zero, and in the specs it says "Operating Temperature 0°C (32°F) to 45°C (113°F)", which isn't really compatible with a cold winter night. Is this just a "it will work outside of this, but we're to lazy to test it", or is there something that can actually break?

Also is there a known compatible 4G stick that I can use for this?

Electronic parts don't 'stop working' when they reach 0°C or the freezing point of water.

The real problem is humidity, condensation.
In a strictly "dry" environment, I guess you can somewhat below 0 C. I've been running a in house AP for years on the outside, with temperatures gong from 40 C to -10 - it just wouldn't die.

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??

@gertjan Thanks! I usually run my electronics in boxes like these, which are quite dry (I've had a Pi with a 2 TB hard disk and external USB network cards running in my open boat, on saltwater with extreme humidity and with very varying temperatures, for two seasons in boxes like these, and they are good), and I put reusable silica bags in them. So conedensation shouldn't be a problem, the EV Mercedes is quiet dry inside too.

So if there is a working USB 4G modem I should be in business. I have tried to search the forum and it seems like there are very different results. I haven't yet found a 100 % "this will work, no problem".

The SG-1100 runs quite warm, it requires some airflow. You would not want to put it in a sealed enclosure like that. On the other hand I would expect that to keep the ambient temperature above zero in any sort of enclosure. Though I've never tried it.

Speaking for no one and I have not tried it, but it seems to me the system would keep itself above 0.
My cameras did not reach zero in -18 weather. The electronics are incased in water tight housings.

All that sounds good! So no problem with the temp, then. Does anybody have an idea what 4G/LTE USB modem that actually works well?

Edit: I'll ask in the Wireless forum, that's probably better.
