      Hi,

I have printers on a separate vlan. I've been using this setup for past year - two secure vlans have full access (via firewall rule) to printer vlan and avahi is in default setup. After upgrading to 2.6 printers are no longer discovered. I can see in firewall states that mDNS broadcast is replicated accross vlans, but for some reasons printers are not discovered. I used my linux box to test it with 'avahi-browse --all' and I get not dns responses at all. I tried resetting state table, restarting avahi, adding serivices to avahi. No luck - any ideas what might be wrong?

EDIT: I triple checked cross-vlan connectivity and all computers can ping printers and access all ports.

So sniff on the interface the printer is connected too - does the printer answer? When you see the discovery go out..
