      Hello,

      I fear bad things.

After I updated a firewall rule, when I went back to the overview page, all the rules were gone.

After a reboot, the pfSense does not boot completely but I can see in the console that it ends in a "login".

When I enter my credentials, I have the option to enter commands.
This is the first time I observe this and I am looking for a solution.

Does anyone have a tip for me?

Does it show any errors before the login prompt?

It sounds like it might have lost the config entirely somehow. A failing drive perhaps?

I would probably install clean and restore the config to get back to a known state. That will likely be fastest.

        Steve

          I think so too.

However, I wanted to follow a tip first and reinstall the software.
However, I now also no longer have access to the console.

Everything does not sound so good.

If there is something interesting to report, I'll let you know. Otherwise, thank you for your time.
