I have just setup latest pfsense version 2.6 and having a strange issue, when I shift my traffic from 2.5 to 2.6 version of pfsense. Every thing stop working I mean no browsing even resolver stopped . I started resolver service as well but not thing happen and I found in log system

/rc.linkup: The command '/usr/sbin/arp -s '172.16.16.96' '2c:41:38:a2:b0:01'' returned exit code '1', the output was 'arp: writing to routing socket: Cannot allocate memory'

Bunch of lines with can not allocate memory ? Any idea what could be the issue .

      Regards

@scorpoin said in can not allocate memory error latest firmware:

arp: writing to routing socket: Cannot allocate memory

        could this be related

        or here

You see that error though because it cannot allocate memory in the ARP table for an IP in a subnet the firewall doesn't have an interface in. Which is probably because the re NIC has gone AWOL.
