    DNS queries from HA backup?

      I am seeing ~2000 DNS queries daily to my DNS server(s) from ONLY the pfSense HA backup for prefer and prefer.lan (default Domain). I can't find out where these are coming from in the pfSense realm and not sure what they are for. Can someone explain the inner workings and is it safe to ignore these from my query lists since they are required and needed?
