Due to supply issues, I have a Protectli device for a backup for our Netgate Devices (5100 and two 2100's). After checking with support and confirming myself, the XML backup and restore between plus and CE works great and prompted me to remedy the interface conflicts. The Protectli device boots up fine, and most of the IPsec connections restore, all but two on the first day I tested and all but one on the second day I tested. The only one that does not connect is another Netgate device. The P1 just shows connecting on both ends.

Is there something that I am missing with IPsec restore on a different device? My first thought was some security issue but the other Netgate devices connect just fine.

@cswroe Which version of pfsense are you restoring to - Im having a really bad time with 2.6

It would be interesting for you to try version 2.5 and see if the iPsec works as expected

@timboau-0 Thank you. I tried 2.5.2, and the same result just showed connecting on the same two connections that I was initially having issues with. I will mess with this more after hours and try rebuilding the P1 and P2 from scratch to see if that helps unless someone has any other suggestions.
