I'm working on installing Pfsense in a watchguard xtm 5 and keep running into problems. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. It boots the installer from the CF card but when I pick the hard drive for install it doesn't show the SSD. I only have the option:

      [ ] ad0 CF Card

I tried and old laptop drive and same problem but I could feel the drive spin up so it's getting power but for some reason it doesn't detect the drive.

      Any thoughts?

        Bad SATA cable or port?

Nothing special required there IIRC. You could try installing to the SSD in something else and then moving the drive.
