a few months ago I upgraded from 2.5.2 to 2.6.0, since that upgrade weird things are happening, one weird thing is that I cannot run a speedtest from any client behind the Pfsense box anymore, the download is working, but upload is either 0 or some crazy low value (I have 1GB/s Fiber) or returns an error.

Now I decided to create a new VM, using the latest version 2.6.0 with no other configuration other than WAN/lAN, same problem, on a vanilla install.

Downloaded 2.5.0, did the same thing, no config other than WAN/LAN, and voila speedtest works fine.

After upgrade from 2.5.0 to 2.6.0 same problem occured.

downloaded 2.5.2 and everything is working as expected, have now selected the 2.5 branch so that I won't get upgraded to 2.6.0

Can someone tell me what the hell is going on here ? to me seems a clear problem with 2.6.0, I use PPPOE/DHCP6 to get ip4 and ipv6 addresses on my wan.

@jvangent100 Sounds like you may be hitting the limiters bug: https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/13026

I believe this was just recently fixed or almost fully fixed on the freshest snapshots.

@jvangent100 Ok. Not sure then. If I were you and had a few minutes to spare, I would take a backup, try to install the latest 2.7 snapshot and see if you're having the same issue. I don't have any PPPoE systems to test with but looking on redmine I see a handful of PPPoE bugs that are either closed or in the Feedback stage.

@luckman212 Ok, thank you for responding. I am now on 2.5.2 and happy for now, I will try this in due time.
