IPSEC with PPPoE: error writing to socket: Can't assign requested address
-
We use PPPoE WAN connection where IP address is dynamic. After each drop of WAN connection/reconnect, IP is changed.
The problem is that charon does not recover from this and needs to be stopped/started after IP changes.May 17 00:21:02 fw11-auh-office charon[38585]: 05[NET] <con2|525> sending packet: from xxxxxx[4500] to yyyyyyy[4500] (57 bytes)
May 17 00:21:02 fw11-auh-office charon[38585]: 04[NET] error writing to socket: Can't assign requested addressIs there any clean solution for this please? To automatically restart charon after IP change on WAN? Or did we miss something within setup and this should work automatically?
Thank you
