Hey guys! I’m trying to do a fresh install of pfSense on HP EliteDesk 800 G3 Mini and when the boot process comes to the VLAN portion, I create VLAN 10 and 99 for WAN and LAN (respectively). After this though, I can’t access the WebGUI. I read in another thread that you can’t access the WebGUI through any other VLAN but 1 by default, but there was a lot more going on in their situation which complicated things. Are there some rules I need to change or am I missing something? Thanks!

If you assign LAN as VLAN99 then you would only be able to access the webgui from a client in that VLAN. That means you would need a switch with a port configured for VLAN99 untagged with the client connected and tagged for the link to pfSense.

I assume you only have one NIC in that device?

You can still leave LAN assigned as the parent interface directly and assign VLAN99 as an OPT interface.
