      Hello,
      So I have a test box that I registered just to try pfSense+.
      I have someone who wants to buy it from me so I tried to unregister it so it's no longer "attached" to me but I couldn't find a way to do it.
      I reinstalled the CE version but the "Register" page says it's still recognized as registered.
      Is there a way to unregister it?

        @jarhead
        AFAIK there isn't an automatic way, to unregister yet.

        Someone mentioned that you'd have to contact Netgate, in order to get it
        unregistered.

          @jarhead There was a discussion a month or two ago that touched on it... I seem to recall pfSense generates a hardware ID and if the hardware changes it is seen as different/new. So without changing something, you probably would need to contact Netgate as mentioned.

          Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
          When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

            Yeah, there's no automated process to do that currently. So open a ticket if for any reason you need to.

              Thanks all.
              I'll let Negate handle it.
