    Hi,

Am a newbie to pfsense and still trying to get my head around many things.

I have setup Telegraf on pfsense but am not getting any data from it to the designated server, when i try to ping the server from the netgate unit it times out.

Am totally lost but think its something to do with routing.

The netgate pfsense unit connects to the cable modem, the netgate has an address of 192.168.2.1
The Unifi USG connects to the netgate unit and picks up an address of 192.168.2.2.
The USG on the local network has an address of 192.168.1.1

The more I look on google the more i get confused.

Anyone any ideas as to where am going wrong and the best way to solve this?

@eliteharbinger42 first of all I'm confused - are you using two routers? If so, is the server located on the 192.168.1.0 -network?

Just remove the USG and put the server on the same network as PFsense and you'll be able to ping.

@phatsta Hi, i decided to reflash the negate sg1000 and that it seems to have worked, must have been something corrupted.
