      Hi all.

For years pfSense has been a no-go for IPv6 with a huge part of Europes ISPs because they require certain DHCPv6 options to be present in the request.

The DHCPv6c in pfSense does not support that, and never have, so quite a few of us are either using the OPNsense patched client, or using something other than pfSense.

Rather stupid that you cannot really use pfSense in France, Spain or Italy because of this.

How about we all upvote the feature request that was made years and years ago to patch the DHCPv6c to allow for Options?

      Here it is: https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/8173

Also, you cannot use the “vlan-pcp 6” option on DHCPv6 client.
You can enable it the GUI, but it has no effect once you enable advanced configuration - we then need the option “vlan-pcp 6” to be respected.

Love the no fuss of using the official appliances :-)
