@mcury seeing the same thing on two SG5100s. Looks like that should be the release. Iโ€™ll try to upgrade my 22.05 RC right now!

nevermind - if you actually select that, it shows an RC version as the download. I wonder if they are in the process of getting things set up for the final release but just not quite there yet.

22.05-RC is now public after completing internal testing. A post about it is incoming shortly.

If you can test it now is the time to find any final bugs. ๐Ÿ˜‰

@stephenw10 is 22.05.r.20220604.1403 the RC? One of my systems (running 22.01) sees that and shows a 22.05 Branch for updating. The one running:

              22.05-BETA (amd64)
built on Tue May 31 06:20:27 UTC 2022
              FreeBSD 12.3-STABLE

Says "Unable to check for updates" every time I try. I still only have 22.01, 21.05.2, and 22.05 DEVEL as the branches. Haven't been able to update the branches. Any advice?

Figured it out. Just set the branch to 22.01 and then clicked the drop down and 22.05 was listed. Installing what has to be the RC now! Given how well the BETA ran for me, I don't expect any issues. Yay!

In order to avoid users getting accidentally updated to 22.09 (which has happened before) the updated repo data is only published to the stable branch. So to move from 22.05-Beta to 22.05-RC first select the Latest Stable branch (22.01) and allow it to update the pfSense-repo pkg. Refresh the page or check the system log to confirm. Then you will see the 22.05 Next Stable branch and can update to it.

@mcury working great for me! Guess we'll see how long the RC run lasts before 22.05 goes gold.

If we already found all the bugs.... ๐Ÿคž

(Or at least everything that might be a showstopper)

Just upgraded my SG-3100, the most smooth update I did so far...
dpinger and unbound services didn't come up after the upgrade, just started them and its running now..

Any problems I'll report back, thanks Netgate team.
