Netgate SG-1100 router - How do I login?

Hi,

Newbie help needed. I have a Netgate SG-1100 router. A friend set this up a while ago and he is not currently available. The router is working however I would like to make changes.

How do I login?

When I go in browser to:

https://192.168.1.1/index.php

It does not resolve and just hangs - no login page.

Q: Do I need to directly connect with usb cable to device to login - or can I do this from a wifi connect computer?

Q: is there someway to figure out how to login without resetting the entire device?

If you have links how to do this that would be helpful also

@revbiz Have you connected to the console port to verify the IP address settings?

A few things:

The IP address may not be set to 192.168.1.x -- check your computer's DHCP address to verify if it is on that network. It is possible a wifi connection might give you a different IP than the pf
Your friend might have set it up on a different TCP port than 443

The only want to be sure of anything is to connect to the console port and check what it says on the menu. If you connect and there is nothing displayed press Enter once or twice to get the 1100 to send you a fresh console output.
