      Dear Team,

I have a pf sense router and make an updates from 2.4.4 to 2.5 and after that 2.6.0 which is last stable release.
I have a domain controller on Windows 2012R2 with installed DHCP server role. I prepare one DHCP scope on the server to send the IP from 192.168.3.0/24. -> Here all is fine the scope is ok.
I configure the DHCP relay on a PF Sense side according the guide which was presented into PF Sense Documentations. But the relay is not working. Please advice what i should do, or in this release 2.6.0 this is not working by default?

      Here is my config:
I have a 3 VLANs which is a virtual in pf sense which I assigned to one physical adapter in the pf sense router.
The pf sense is connected to one layer 2 switch HP pro curve and to this switch i connected one vm ware host with his 2 physical adapters. On the PF Sense in firewall rules I allow all packets between all vlans here all is work as expected.
My Windows 2012R2 DHCP server is in vlan1 which is 192.168.1.0/24 and the VM on which i want to use PF sense relay to receive the IP from the DHCP is in VLAN3 which provide IP of subnet: 192.168.3.0/24. the routing is ok because when i add the static ip on vm which is Windows 10 pro all is work, but when leave the settings of Win 10 to receive the IP from DHCP i can`t receive. ANd the DHCP Relay of PF Sense is not work.
Please once again advice what i miss in the configuration.

Thank you in advance for your help.

I read before that the DHCP relay is work on LAN adapter which on my side is em.1 but my workstation vlan 3 is virtual and is a assign to this physical port. Is it be possible the relay to work only with LAN and is need to be reconfigured via command line to relayed to virtual - here may be my question is silly but have no idea how to resolved this issue i fight with this more than a couple a week.
here is the assigment of the adapters virtual and physical: like serverlan is original LAN by default i re-name it.

Did someone can provide the shell command top reconfigure the adapter if it is possible?

Thank you in advance for your help.

I use DHCP Relay, and saw no issues on 2.6.0 (for the short while i used it , before upgrading to prSense+)

My infrastructure uses a Linux server as DHCP server , and pfSense Relay on the Vlans.

Thank you so much bingo600 for your answer. Probably the issue is on my side only. I have the vlans as well on my environment, but my ?DHCP is under Windows 2012R2. And the Relay doesnt want to relayed. I make a couple of tests last week and found that the all in my network settings is correct only the relay. I will try to make a DHCP under windows 2016 and i will did it wok for me.

@ one additional thing when i put my test VM win10 into the same vlan as DCHP server all is wok, when i change the port group on vCenter to the vlan on which will put my working stations and set the static IP the network is OK. But when change the ip settings to DHCP win10 vm can`t take the ip from the pull and this show that the DHCP relay is not wok.

Unfortunately i will stop to use PF Sense and will try to find different solution for software router. I don`t find the solution.
Please advice the will be appreciated all future advices.
